Serum Thalassemia Prevention Federation (STPF) is a dedicated non-governmental organisation committed to supporting people living with different forms of Thalassemia, as well as individuals affected by HIV/AIDS.
For over two decades, STPF has worked tirelessly to prevent Thalassemia, improve access to treatment and enhance patients’ quality of life. Through awareness programmes, education and community outreach, the organisation helps medical professionals, carriers, caregivers and the public better understand the condition and make informed decisions.
As one of the leading organisations working in Thalassemia care and prevention, STPF provides carrier detection tests, genetic testing and counselling. It also supports people with moderate and severe Thalassemia through regular blood transfusions, essential medication, iron chelation therapy, folic acid supplementation and ongoing medical guidance—bringing care, confidence and hope to patients and their families.
